I did not have a rich father I tried 3 times for the university all field I applied for Harvard for 10 times all failed

They don't even want to see me

For Last time I went to the teachers college which was considered 3rd and 4th class on my city so I apply job 30 x got rejected

It was so difficult at that time I was so depressed I taught in the university buy pay was $10 a month

Because I could not find a good job

in 1994 discuss that I am going to do something called internet

23 of friends against it they said this is stupid idea we have never heard about it internet you know nothing about computer and I was never knew that I was smart

Nobody believe that I could be successful

because everybody say this guys think differently think crazily he will think about something that will never work

I tried to borrow $3000 from the banks it took me 3 months but still I could not get it 

we talk to our 30-40 venture capitalist everybody said no forget it

Lot of people said Alibaba is a terrible model

I said I believe it I think this thing could be a big I never thought it would be that big like today I believe that something is waiting for me there and I have to work hard to prove myself

That was tough experience

We gather 50000 US dollar from 80 founders we started

For the first three years we did not get even one dollar  benefit from it

it's not that easy but why it kept us going ahead going forward because

I received lot of thanks email from the customer

They said this is such a great thing we cannot pay you but this thing helpled us

if you keep on doing this one day you will be successful and I believe that

Little by little will build our business little by little we build up our ecosystem of infrastructure

After 16 years we have Alibaba group 

we have t-mall group

 we have taobao group

 and we have alipay

People say you are so smart how could you make a company like that

Larry Page Mark Zuckerberg Bill Gates et cetera the difference between these people and other people that they are always optimistic about future they never complained they always try to solve the problems of the others when your optimistic is always opportunity people say the same thing here today Jack where is opportunity I don't have a job I don't have this I don't have that we are at the best of the century the best assets you have is that you are young

Don't complain let the other people complain

Opportunity always lies where people complain think about how you can make things different

is there anything that I can make a difference and then will you think about this start to do  it

I know lot of people young people they  have fantastic ideas every evening 

but in the morning they go to the office and again

being enterprenuer you have to do the things before other people do

You have to wake up before other people wake up

You have to brave then other people

use your instinct everything you do is to the need of the customer

For everybody everybody person tomorrow is new so make move make action

whether investor believe it or not whether your friends believe it or not whether your parents believe it or not

That's not important you believe it your team believe it and work day and night on this

That how things happen

Make enough mistake you follow any standard any mistake is an income it is wonderful revenue don't worry about the money money follows people

 people should follow their dreams

If you have dream just go ahead

I think nobody can conquer the world 

we only can serve the world

Either work for others or work for yourself

I choose the way of working for myself

Working for myself that means working for the society

If you really want to work for yourself think about the others

when the other people successful when the other people happy you will be successful you will be happy
