Learning from failure

Daughter of one of the member of spiritual community I am a part of who stand first in the class every year and would come to show every year report card to our Guru whom she loved so much when she was in fifth grade she stood first again and came running from the school to show her report card to our Guru as a carefully exam in her marks and her performance

She was excitedly wedding some words of appreciation from him like he did every year to her utter surprise he asked her why did you stand first she was shock she had stood first and other than admiring it he was asking why saying the confusion on her face he remark that he he means it is wonderful that you have stood first all the years of the school and this year as well it is definitely commendable and you are very hard working girl but you should remember the great results are not the only parameters of your success

Your sincerity your hard work and your understanding of the subject of your school are your achievement and also so life will not necessary I allow you to stand first always after all the hard work

 ok you will happen to stand second even if you have failed

it's alright you have given your best

You should also learn how to handle failure

Life is a roller coaster ride success and failures keep working hard keep standing first learn the lesson of accepting the success with humility even if you fail learn the lesson fighting your failure with courage and by the way congratulation for having stood first

I would have congratulation you even if you have failed because I know because you give nothing less then your best the girl was inspired left her room uplifted

This message is not licence to justify feeling we should definitely do our best to get where we want to you but when we can't there are factors beyond your control we should learn to embrace our failure and accept them that are stepping stones to success the next time you feel don't be sad instead be happy that you learn very valuable lesson out of it
