PEPSICO COMPANY TOOK DECISION
IN FAVOUR OF FARMERS
After filing case against farmers for
violation of of privacy and confidentiality pepsico has shown some sign of of
mutual understanding
Company want to settle this issue
outside so they have asked farmers 2 who involve in their training
program and sign on the agreement paper
Company has file chargesheet against
farmers regarding the breach of confidentiality information
Pepsico has file chargesheet against
farmer stating that they were taking production of the potatoes which is patent
to pepsico company
Company uses this patented potato
spaces for the the preparation of lays chips
In this patented spaces water content
is minimum so they are used for the preparation of of lays chips
Company has said that we have kept a
a an option in front of farmers about making an agreement it for the
cultivation ofof patented potatoes
pepsico has said that farmers can
join the manufacturing of potatoes for the lays chips and they will get
monetary benefit
Even if they don't want to to be a
part of this cultivation program they can make an agreement and and take
production of of different species of of potatoes other than this patented
potato species
Pepsico company has said that we had
to take ok good decision in in favour of farmers because thousands of farmers
are involved in it
Decision regarding pepsico case will
be given on 12th June
