Organisational Behaviour (OB) always focuses on how to

OB always try to apply different models, theories and experiments which can be
suitable to be applied to maintain that well-being or to generate it. It
determines various factors through which it identifies how to manage things
accordingly so that everyone feels safe and secured mentally and physically.
OB is overall study of a human behaviour and how can it be
applied on the employees, so it’s crucial to make employee grow in their field
along with the organisation. Well-being can be taken care with the continuous

ü Psychology à it is the study of human behaviour which predicts the actions
which might lead to some particular actions been done or made by them. It can
measure and explain why the person is behaving in such a way and what can be
done so that the behaviour can be deviated or moulded. In an organisation the
behaviour like dissatisfaction, boredom and tiredness was used for the
evaluation in the organisation but as the scenario has changed the organisation
has seen a lot of things above that, not just boredom is seen as a behaviour
but the employee emotions, personality, perception, leadership, training,
motivation, job satisfaction, decision making, performance appraisal, attitude
measurement, employee selection, work design, work stress, etc. is also being
seen as the part of the human behaviour which can contribute in moulding the
human behaviour. This focuses on individual level.
ü Social Psychology àit is the mix of both sociology and psychology. Along with the
individual behaviour its important how that individual behave in the social
atmosphere. The thinking, mind process, influencing power, communication with
one another in a group as an individual plays a crucial role. It measures the
behaviour of an individual when he/she is in a group and how their behaviour and
perception is in that scenario.
It
contributes in behavioural change, attitude change, group process, group
decision making. This focuses on a group level.
ü Sociology à where psychology talks about the individual behaviour, in
sociology it considers the behaviour of a group, culture and social
environment. It is the study where the sociologist see that how can a group
could possibly affect the organisation and how their culture and perspectives
are different than the individuals. it is done mainly in the formal and
informal meeting/gatherings, constitutes of power, politics and conflicts. It
contributes in communication, power, conflict, intergroup behaviour, formal
organisation group theory, organization technology, organizational change,
organizational culture, etc.
ü Anthropology à it is the study of societies to learn more about how humans
behave and what are their activities in a society. What are the different
cultures, tradition a person belongs and the way they can be shaped according
to the organisation when it comes to work-setting. All the fundamentals values,
ethics, attitudes are being measured with this study of society. This
contributes in comparative values, comparative attitudes, cross-culture
analysis, organisational culture, organisational environment, power.
