Impact of 200 percent tax duty on Pakistani vegetables by India Because of India not exporting vegetables to Pakistan Pakistan is suffering suffering a lot because on one hand the prices of vegetables specially tomato and chilli green chilli and other vegetables are increasing and secondly Pakistan does ayush production of dry dates show the price of dry dates is increased that's why no Indian trader wants to buy it because India has put 200 to 300 percent tax duty on the vegetables for material we buy from Pakistan So because of terrorism Pakistan has suffered a lot China has already purchase most of the assets of the Pakistan and most of the industrial companies and its shares Even some people are calling this chilli bomb green chilli is sold in Pakistan at 400 rupees kg and tomato 300 rupees which is not affordable for middle man and Pakistan government on the other hand putting use tax on vendor who are not Siri tomato and chillies or selling at higher cost after bomb attack Indian government has put 200% stamp duty for tax duty on all the vegetables exported to Pakistan common man has suffered a lot a middle class people their budget has disrupted last year tomato was 24 rupees kg kilogram and now it is 300 rupees kilogram even green chilli last year costed 100 rupees per kg now it's 400 rupees per kg so all the shopkeepers they are not selling tomato and chillies because very few people can afford chilli and tomato Pakistan government has fix the price of tomato and green chilli and if somebody is selling more than that that person will be punished that shopkeeper will be punished other than India Sindh and Balochistan can provide these vegetables to Pakistan But because of less rain there is scarcity of tomato and chilli and other vegetables this year The major impact on Pakistan was seen due to two hundred percent tax duty on dry dates now India is buying Iraqi dry dates and gulf countries gulf countries are getting benefit out of this Indian people are also like in gulf countries dry dates and Iraqi die dates Pakistan makes huge production of dry dates last year India purchase 1.75 lakh tonnes of dry dates whose price was 110 crores of revenue the price of dry dates earlier was 75 to 80 rupees now it is 150 rupees now Indian traders are concentrating on Iraq dry dates Iraqi dry dates are available at 150 rupees per kg so because of that India not impacted at all due to stopping Pakistani bridges and purchasing it from Iraq
